- New Support for converting Word documents with a .docx extension (MS Word 2007 and above) to PDF.
- Improvement Improved Word to PDF conversion: support for document meta data (title, keywords, subject and title), paragraph shading, fields such as date, numpages, different heards and footers on different pages, additional image types, border widths in tables, lines, rectangle and elliptical shapes, justified list paragraphs, paragraph borders, justified text in table cells.
- Improvement Improvement in memory usage when reading and converting JPEG images.
- Improvement Better support for CJK fonts and more generally CID fonts when filling interactive form fields.
- Improvement When creating new documents or updating existing document properties, PAS creates or updates the XMP metadata so both document’s properties dictionary and XMP meta data are kept in synch.
- Improvement Edit unicode text (UTF-16 characters) in annotations content. This will be of special interest to customers using non-latin characters such as arabic, asian, greek, cyrillic characters. Unicode text is also supported within document properties (author, subject, description).
- Improvement Improved Internal Links & Bookmarks: when merging multiple PDF documents.
- Fix Fixed most “Unrecognized Command” errors. These errors occurred when the PDF parsing engine had issues detecting the end of image stream on inline images.
- Fix Fixed some issues with form fields when merging or extracting data.
- Fix Fixed some issues with importing, exporting and flattening annotations.
